Fairtrade
The Fairtrade organization has set itself the task of improving working conditions for producers in developing countries. The standard is based on three fundamental values: economic, ecological and social. For certified farmers, the purchase of fairly traded raw materials means fair wages that are above world market prices, a Fairtrade bonus and a premium for organic production. In addition, child and forced labor, for example, are prohibited. The companies are regularly inspected for compliance with the Fairtrade guidelines.
