Polyacrylic

Polyacrylic is a fiber that is produced from acrylic nitrite and belongs to the chemical fibers. The fibers are very fluffy and therefore look very similar to wool. They are warm, soft and crease-resistant. Polyacrylic fibers can also be used for blends, e.g. with cotton or wool. This group includes Dralon® and Dolan®, for example.


Advantages:

  • capacity crease-resistant 
  • quick drying 
  • high color brilliance
  • retains its shape 
  • very elastic

Disadvantages: 

  • very low strength 
  • low moisture absorption
