OEKO-TEX® Standard 100
The OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 is a globally recognized, independent testing and certification system for textiles tested for harmful substances.
The OEKO-Tex® Standard 100 is an independent testing and certification system for textiles tested for harmful substances and is the most widely used in the world. Products with this seal of approval are classified as harmless. The garment is only certified according to OEKO-Tex® Standard 100 if all ingredients of the end product, including seam yarns, prints, decorative materials and labels, meet the required criteria. Compliance with the standard is checked annually. During the test, the more intensive the contact of the textile with the skin, the stricter the limit values that must be adhered to.
The textiles are tested for banned and restricted substances, substances that are suspected of being hazardous to health but are not yet covered by law and precautionary parameters such as allergenic substances. In addition, all products must have a skin-friendly pH value and good color fastness.
