Fairtrade underwear
In early 2009, we were the first German underwear manufacturer to offer products made from Fairtrade-certified cotton, and to this day, we are the largest German buyer of Fairtrade cotton for underwear production. We are also the market leader in underwear made from organic and fair-trade cotton and have been contributing for several years to ensuring that cotton farmers can produce under ecological and fair conditions. Why Fairtrade underwear?
If you have always wondered about this, we would like to clarify it here. Certification ensures that workers are not exploited in the production of cotton. This cannot be guaranteed or checked for products without the Fairtrade or GOTS seal. Of course, this does not mean that all brands without certification exploit workers, but it is more difficult to trace or prove whether they do. Therefore: Buy fair trade underwear and make sure that the people who make your products can live a good life.
Production
With lots of love! The production of our Fairtrade underwear starts in the Swabian Alb - this is where contract manufacturers knit our fabrics for almost all comazo|earth products. At Comazo's textile finishing plant in Albstadt, the fabrics are bleached, dyed and finished using the most modern and ecologically advanced processes. After cutting, the goods are packed together with all the ingredients and made up in our sewing factories in Croatia, Romania and Bosnia. After assembly, quality control and packaging, the finished articles arrive back at our logistics centre in Albstadt and begin their journey to you from there.
