Fairtrade underwear
In early 2009, we were the first German underwear manufacturer to offer products made from Fairtrade-certified cotton, and to this day, we are the largest German buyer of Fairtrade cotton for underwear production. We are also the market leader in underwear made from organic and fair-trade cotton and have been contributing for several years to ensuring that cotton farmers can produce under ecological and fair conditions. Why Fairtrade underwear?
If you have always wondered about this, we would like to clarify it here. Certification ensures that workers are not exploited in the production of cotton. This cannot be guaranteed or checked for products without the Fairtrade or GOTS seal. Of course, this does not mean that all brands without certification exploit workers, but it is more difficult to trace or prove whether they do. Therefore: Buy fair trade underwear and make sure that the people who make your products can live a good life.
Produktion
Mit ganz viel Liebe! Die Produktion unserer Fairtrade Unterwäsche startet bei uns auf der Schwäbsichen Alb - hier stricken Lohnbetriebe unsere Stoffe für nahezu alle comazo|earth-Produkte. In der textilen Ausrüstung von Comazo in Albstadt werden diese nach modernsten und ökologisch fortschrittlichsten Verfahren gebleicht, gefärbt und veredelt. Nach dem Zuschnitt wird die Ware zusammen mit allen Zutaten gepackt und in unsere Nähereien in Kroatien, Rumänien und Bosnien konfektioniert. Nach Konfektion, Qualitätskontrolle und Verpackung kommen die fertigen Artikel zurück in unserem Logistikzentrum in Albstadt an und beginnen von dort ihre Reise zu Euch.
