About our production 

We have been producing your favorite underwear since 1884. But the simple word "produce" hardly captures the extensive processes and dedication behind it. Our production activities are spread across our own factories in Europe as well as carefully selected partners worldwide. We also operate a subsidiary, Greener LTD. based in Tamil Nadu, India. The company was founded in 2016 under the leadership of Kai Stahlecker, who has successfully expanded our family business across borders. Through these valuable partnerships, we not only create jobs, but can also guarantee fair wages, which is an important concern for us.

Design 

The journey of every piece of underwear begins in the creative heart of our company - in the design department. This is where ideas, trends and technical know-how come together to develop innovative concepts for our favorite underwear. Our talented designers are always on the lookout for new inspiration to ensure that our collections are suited to our changing times. It is of great importance to us not only to create aesthetically pleasing designs, but also to ensure comfort, fit and functionality.

Sample sewing department

The designers' visions are then brought to life in our in-house sample sewing department. Prototypes and samples are created here to ensure every detail is perfect before full-scale production begins. Our experienced seamstresses and tailors are masters of their trade and set the highest standards in the production of our underwear. Precision, care and attention to detail are essential to ensure the quality our company is known for. Together, the design department and the sample sewing department form the backbone of our company and are crucial to our success. Their shared passion for excellent design and craftsmanship drives us to constantly setting new standards and offer our customers first-class underwear of the highest quality.

Dyeing

The dyeing department plays a central role in manufacturing our products to the highest quality standards, in particular the Oeko-Tex Standard 100, and specializes in ensuring that the dyes and chemicals we use meet the strict requirements of this standard to ensure the health and safety of our customers. Our highly skilled professionals in the dyeing department have a deep understanding of the correct application of dyes and chemicals to ensure that our underwear is not only colorful and attractive, but also safe on your skin. In addition, we place great emphasis on environmentally friendly dyeing methods and processes. Our dyeing facility relies on innovative technologies and processes that reduce water consumption, minimize waste and reduce environmental impact. By using recycled water and environmentally friendly dyes, we actively contribute to minimizing the environmental impact of our production.

Cutting 

In our cutting department, the latest cutter technology is used to precisely cut the fabric panels and thus create the basis for the production of our high-quality underwear. But this department is far more than just a collection of machines - it is a core element of our production process. Highly qualified specialists work here, who not only have a deep understanding of the material, but also the technical know-how to operate the cutting machines efficiently. Their expertise ensures that every cut is perfect and that every piece of fabric corresponds exactly to the design specifications. The employees in the cutting department play a crucial role in ensuring that the materials are used optimally and that production runs smoothly. They carefully monitor the cutting process to ensure that the fabric panels are cut precisely and that there is no waste.

Manufacturing

The individual components of our own production are then made up in our Croatian subsidiary Maier-Textil, which was founded in 1990. During the sewing process, the individual parts are brought together precisely. The seams must be elastic so that the material follows every movement and sits comfortably on the body. In addition, very flat seams are used so that nothing rubs or pinches. These important properties are checked in detail during the subsequent inspection. Only the parts that pass the trained eye are marked with a test mark and are approved. We also have our own production facilities in Romania and India.

Quality assurance

As soon as the goods have arrived back in Albstadt, they go through the final stage before being sold - quality assurance. Here, underwear items are put through their paces one last time to ensure that everything has gone according to plan, that all measurements have been adhered to and that our high quality standards have been met, because we only want to offer our customers the best and highest quality underwear.

Sales

At the end of the manufacturing process, our high-quality underwear is packaged and shipped to you with the utmost care and attention.
